Metaversed “geek meet” talk on the potential of voice technology

This is a talk which I did for www.metaversed.com a while ago now. It was a really interesting discussion. Bernhard Drax from Life4u talked about the impact of voice firstly, then I discussed some of the future implications and possibilities of the voice technology. We then had a great talk from Vinny Fardel of Vivox, the company who implemented voice technology for Linden Lab, and some interesting discussion from a number of Lindens, including Joe Linden who lead the voice project for Linden Lab. At the moment this video just features my part of the talk, but Im sure we will get the rest up soon.

Hi there ! My name is Robert Thomas, and I'm a composer interested in unusual ways music can become a soundtrack to your life. I run a small music company called Dizzy Banjo. I also go under the name Dizzy Banjo in numerous social networks and environments.

I've done a lot of work creating music for unusual places, including virtual spaces, video games and mobile devices.
